Areas of Interest: Brief Intervention, community settings, community pharmacy
Description: I am an experienced researcher based at the University of Sunderland with an interest and academic background in health psychology. I have expertise in both qualitative and quantitative methods. Most of my research to date has been based on health-related behaviours, primarily but not exclusively within primary care. This has included health care seeking behaviours and behaviour change. I am currently looking more widely at the role of community pharmacy in optimising life-long health and have recently been involved in an evaluation of a pilot alcohol Identification and Brief Advice intervention that was delivered across a range community settings. Our research team is hoping to develop this and other related work further in the near future.
