Description: Guillermina Natera is psychologist with Master’s degree in Psychology and Education Sciences, doctoral candidate in Anthropology. She is Director of Epidemiological and Psychosocial Research, at National Institute of Psychiatry Ramón de la Fuente Muñiz (INPRFM). Since 1980, she has worked on research about addictions, family, partner violence in rural, indigenous and urban contexts. She has developed intervention manuals and participated in several international meetings. Natera has received awards from the WHO and INPRFM. She owns the highest designation awarded by the Coordinating Committee of the National Institutes of Health and High Specialty Hospitals and the National System of Researchers. She is tutor, teacher and member of the Academic Committee Program (Master and Doctorate) of the Faculty of Medicine (UNAM). Is also member of the Technical Council of the Faculty of Psychology (UNAM). She has published more than 200 scientific papers, 3 books internationally, and given more than 350 lectures nationally and internationally.
