Description: Based in Experimental Psychology at the University of Bristol, I specialise in research on healthy behaviour change and choice architecture interventions ("nudging"). I use a wide range of experimental techniques including eye-tracking, electroencephalography, functional magnetic resonance imaging, randomised controlled trials and naturalistic field studies. I am leading an Alcohol Research UK grant and am a co-investigator on an MRC Public Health Intervention Development (PHIND) Scheme grant, both of which are investigating the impact of alcohol labelling (i.e. unit, calorie and health warnings) on intentions, attitudes and behaviour.
